A Pakistan Stock Exchange analytics platform: KSE-100 screening, watchlists, sector strength, technical analysis, and BUY/SELL/HOLD signals, with accounts and subscriptions.
My Role
Built the original data pipeline, the Express API, the dashboard and reports, authentication hardening (password handling, rate limiting), data-collector reliability fixes, and the Docker/Render deployment. My partner built the signal engine and backtester.
Project Highlights
- Scheduled market-data collector with retries and backoff, a cooldown on rate limits, data validation, per-stock fault isolation, and a MongoDB lease so only one instance collects
- Signals require agreement across indicators (RSI, MACD, moving averages, SuperTrend); "confidence" = indicator agreement, not a profit guarantee
- Backtesting without look-ahead (signal at close, fill at next open)
- Accounts, 15-day free trial, local payments (Safepay/JazzCash)
